I’m an Economist with a vast curiosity about how to improve our lives using technology, policymaking, and critical thinking. I’m particularly interested in using data to design cost-efficient solutions for complex economic and financial challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in international economics from UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. I have six years of professional experience working in the private sector and twelve years of multidisciplinary consulting in business analytics, environmental economics, and technology-related projects. During these years, I have developed a set of diversified skills. These include macroeconomic analysis, finance, impact evaluation, data visualization, geographic information systems, natural resource management, remote sensing, machine learning, regression analysis, statistics, programming, program management, E-learning course design, and policymaking process. I’m a Spanish and English bilingual speaker and have worked in Mandarin, French, and Portuguese working environments.
